What Japanese animation do you recommend for people in other countries? (http://www.japantoday.com/e/?content=popvox&id=276)
Because many westerner characters appear in Lupin the Third maybe it would be easily accepted in western countries.
That's what I always look for - lots and lots of gaijin characters.

Uh...yeah. I watch anime to see things that look like the places and people am used to. That's it exactly. My poor gaijin brain gets confused when anime gets too Japanese.
Oh, and I watched Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi for the first time as a non-bootleg (I grabbed the official Chinese release). I love that movie.

No, I have seen lots of bootlegs and I am convinced that this is not one of them, or it is the most skillful forgery I have ever seen. It has a holographic Disney mark on the package, and the video transfer is absolutely perfect, and it comes with an extra DVD full of bonus material. It's also a region 3 DVD, all the bootlegs I have seen are all-region, I mean, why would you region-lock out your customers when you aren't going through the official middlemen anyway?
