Presumably, the system will drop to 19800 yen, or $165, a price that will put it equal to Nintendo's GameCube. Currently, the Xbox costs 24800 yen, or $207, which puts it on even footing with the Playstation 2.

I think the Xbox is cool but have been avoiding it because of price. If it hits 20k it might be worth picking up. Especially if MS loses money in the deal. :D
