Does anyone have experience with Temple University in Tokyo? How is it to study there?

I have heard through a friend, it was good. Sorry, I don't have access to the friend to offer you more info. But what I did hear from a couple of people was postive.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but apparently Temple Tokyo is a real joke of a school. I've spoken to both people who do their undergrad there and American students at the law school, and every last one of them has regretted going there. Many of the American students are proficient in Japanese, but say that they have a damn hard time using ANY of their Nihongo there at the school. And apparently the teachers aren't that great at English either.
As far as I see it, it would probably be more interesting to stay in the US for the remainder of law school and then come over to Japan later. At least, that's what I've decided to do after hearing all of the bad news about Temple Tokyo.

I'm thinking about going to Temple in Tokyo.
However, i'm a little confused about one thing:
the school year in Japan starts in April, right?
Is this the same for Temple? Because it really is an 'American' school.
I've heard good things about the Pennsylvanian Temple, but of course that's a totally different school in a different country.
Any other schools that use english as their tutoring language?

Is it possible to go to english-language schools in Tokyo or perhaps more to the north of Japan? (Sapporo perhaps)
I'll be going to Japan in march next year, and if I'd like to continue studying, preferably Japanese language, film or photography.
Thanks!

Nor do I know anyone who has gone there as a student. But I do know someone who has taught there. Based on that small experience I would say stay as far away as you can...perhaps even flee to a country that does not have a Temple University.
This teacher taught a sociology class at Kanda Gaigo Daigaku. The class was in English, which she was fluent in...I guess. Basically she just rambled for 3 hours while I drew or worked on Japanese homework. Totally uninteresting teaching, not worth my time, definately not worth money.
But that's just one teacher....
*shrug*
Actually speaking of Kanda Gaigo Daigaku, it's got a pretty decent reputation from what I hear....The resident faculty (not visiting teachers like I had) seem to be pretty decent. The students are really nice, they have quite a few English taught classes, tuition is pretty reasonable, I think. I'd recommend it, but I'd also recommend shopping around. This Kanda is in Makuhari...There's another one in the actual area of Kanda. Oh! That reminds me...Sophia, or Zyouchi or whatever it's called in Japanese, University is also pretty decent from what I hear.
