Looks rather big, I would have to get some feedback on it from users.

Well, they call it an "ultra-compact 4.4-pound" camera. Sort of an oxymoron, I think. For reference, Sony's VX2000 is listed at 3.1 pounds, but I believe that's not including a chunky battery.
This 24P type of miniDV camera will be great for DV>film transfers, progessive HD monitor playback and web video, but personally I still don't have a 24P TV...
It'll be interesting to see what Canon, Sony and JVC come up with.

These cell phones that I see, the one that takes your picture, can they only be purchased in Japan? How much are they? I cant read the Japanese webpage. :?

The Japanese phones only work in Japan. Maybe grandmastergaijin will tell you how much his phone cost.
I'm sure they'll eventually sell some phone cams in the US, but US phones are always at least 2-3 years behind those in Japan.
By the way, you can start a new topic for this type of question. Probably Tokyo Tech is the best category.
(I moved this thread over here to our new DV/Film production section, because it's more relevant over here.)

Grandmastergaijin? Do I sense a rap influence here? hehe And who might this master of cellphones be?
Thanks for the info Ultrababe, I know I'm being a pest with the questions, but I really do appreciate your help. :D
