I noticed that it's been doing that recently. Every time a new page gets started it seems to hang and give some "no posts exist in this topic" (or something like that) message.

It's always done that for some reason. Sometimes when you go to the last page #X from the Gaijin Ghetto topic listing, there isn't really a page #X, so you get an error message. You just have to go to page #X -1.

I guess they still haven't fixed that bug.

It could be that "Caustic Saint" and I are using the Safari browser on the Mac and the FG's phpBB software does not like Mozilla variants. I gave up on Mozilla 1.5.2 and went back to Mozilla 1.0.1. I guess I will be forced to use IE 5.x because the all the [b ][ /b], [ quote][/ quote] functions only work in IE on the the Mac or Win OS.

I haven't tried Firebird 0.6 yet but I'll give it a go. The 'IE only' buttons flaw as well as Safari's no tidle "~" copying in urls bug has been driving me bonkers. Thanks for the tip.

ALSO you gave me a great idea of changing my browser ID string from "Mozilla-compatible" to "IE5"---that trick often works with banking websites which always have nasty IE-only designs. Again thanX :P

Ok I switched to Firebird 0.7.1 for OS X. a Hot-damn the formerly IE 5-only formating buttons work!! Woooooo wooo!
Thanks. (I'm wonder what the fucquek is wrong with regular Mozilla versions 1.0 thru 1.5b and the Safari variant.
