It's difficult to get Gaijin to share ideas...There's sometimes a lot of attitude between foreigners. Especially when they feel their niche being entered... I love that feeling.

Can't we all just get along? Come down off your high horse and join reality. You're not the only Gaijin in town.

I agree with you, Guy Jean. Unfortunately, it's a trap I've fallen into myself. You know, not wanting to make friends based solely on common ethnicity, the headrush you get from feeling "unique", or at least being told you look like Tom Cluise.
I'm currently working on a script that I'll be submitting to my home-country's arts council in hopes of securing a bit of a budget for my film. I'm wondering if there are any technician types out there if (i mean "when"!) the project goes ahead. Also, where to rent, beg, borrow, or steal lights, sound gear, c-stands, etc. I've found precious little info on this, especially in English!
