I am in love with this software myself.... seems like your templates aren't working properly though. (or is that intentional?)

I know this site is aimed at gaijins, but I have the Japanese translation for the final version if you are keen.

Anyway.. nice site. You will definitely hear me bitching about Japan sometime soon.

Hey SorryD,

Which part of the templates aren't working for you? It works fine for me in IE, but I've been trying out Opera 6 lately and there are some discrepancies that I haven't bothered to fix yet. If you wouldn't mind, could you be more specific about what you're seeing, so I can tell which of the things are intentional and which are not (and maybe fix them).

I've just been wondering about Japanese support (since I tried to post something and I guess the US version can't parse Japanese characters.) Is it a completely new install, or an addon?

I just get the pink and green colors regardless of the template I choose. I am using IE6.

it is an addon. Users choose their board language in the profile or the board default can be changed to another language. (not useful in this case though)

I am still debugging, but have a geez if you are interested.

Okay, that's normal, because I have user-selectable themes switched off. I want a different site logo for each theme, but I guess I'll have to make 3 directories with copies of Subsilver to do that. I haven't got around to looking into it yet.

Your test board is looking good. For the F*cked Forums though, I really just want people to be able to include Japanese in their posts in the English language mode, rather than Japanese menus. I'm on the road now, so I'll look into your addon some more when I get back this weekend.

Thanks!

I was actually planning on doing a "gaijin english" language file on the weekend. It looks pretty easy to do so I'll let you know when its done.
