How to post images

1. Click the "Images" link on the main menu bar and select "Upload an image (http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/forums/vbimghost.php?do=upload)."

or

When posting or editing a post, scroll down below the message editing window to "Attach Files" and click "Upload an Image (http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/forums/vbimghost.php?do=upload) - New System."

2. Copy the "BB Code IMG" and paste it into your post. An image link should look like:

You can also link to images you have hosted on another site that allows public hotlinking.

With Photoisland, use their "make link for auction" function, then paste the url in between BBCode "img" tags in your post, as explained here (http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode).

Adding an image to a post

BBCode (http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode) incorporates a tag for including images in your posts. To display an image, you must surround the url pointing to the image with tags. For example:

http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/images/photo.jpg

Use the same process for linking to offsite smileys (http://www.mysmilies.com/).

To make an image into a clickable link, you can wrap an image in a URL tag:

http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/images/photo.jpg (http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/)

Why can't we have pics in our sigs. I have this one that I want to use...it's only 1650 bytes big, but everytime I try to ues it, my sig vanishes without a trace.

Lycos UK (http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/) also allows external linking to images. They'll give you 50megs of space and no transfer limits. The only time you'll see ads is if you host an actual page on their server.

Are images no longer available in beyond fucked?Actually, they were available if I sub/hotlinked my own site.. But I noticed it doesn't work anymore.. Unless I've forgotten the code, which is very possible.
