It did not take long for Twinkle Lam to realize that she had a problem on her hands.

Last November I was bored and aimlessly channel surfing MTV on Japan's satellite SkyPerfecTV and YIKES---I did a doubletake when I heard Japanese in the background: "Gwen ha suru no" ( which loosely means Is Gwen doing - or Will Gwen do it?).
It ain't often I hear Japanese in heavy rotation, American Top-40 Pop.
It turned out that I had stumbled across Gwen Stefani's 80s rehash and the Harajuku Girls looking like they're wearing Hogwarts (Hufflepuff) uniforms.
The New York Post, Nov 21 covered her new CD.
As of yesterday, Gwen Stefani''s "If I Were a Rich Man" from that CD hit No. 3 on the Billboard Pop chart (week of March 12}.
