First Foreigners For Morning Musume

Postby Mulboyne » Fri Mar 16, 2007 8:47 am

[floatr]ImageImage[/floatr]Hello Project has announced (Japanese) that two new members of Morning Musume will be 16 year-old Rin Rin (Qian Lin - near right) and 19 year old Jun Jun (Li Chun - far right). Both are Chinese. Rin Rin is already a minor talent who was introduced to svengali Tsunku by a Chinese acquaintance while Jun Jun came through auditions held in Beijing.

On a similar note, I recently saw a tv ad for an US Morning Musume like group of nine girls...Girl Authority...It has much tighter age grouping than Morning Musume and in a spice girl like move, each girl is a "type" (sporty, prep, rock, ect). I don't know if the ad was a part of an overall cartoon network saturation buy or specific targeting of anime fans, but the ad I saw during an episode of Naruto.

Indeed. It was so hard to listen to that I shut it off after a few seconds.

Yup, but it did show me that I would not be disappointed if they came over to my place and suggested "Hey, lets get nude and get in a pile".
That'd work!

In walking to the station yesterday I saw a large stack of photo albums. Maybe 8 big volumes. Inside were photos from magazines and books of idols. One had a huge section on MM. I was impressed at how carefully and professionally this person was with putting them together. And now he has left them for the trash man.

Nothing gets stale faster than an idol. Time to start a new collection.
