I don't know about anything Japanese, but that sure looks like a WWF belt she's wearing in that pic.

Not sure how I feel about Madonna..

I actually think her music has improved over the years. That counts for something, no? Ayumi Hamasaki is another one that, I feel, has improved her voice, appearance, and stage show.. SMAP, on the other hand, is still crap.

Come on! Who doesn't like lesbian-play singers on stage!? :p

My favorite Madonna album is still Ray of Light. Everything after that is OK, but not worth spending 15 bucks for the CDs.

I agree, SMANKO is crap.

I like her music.
Doesn't she have a French-Canadian mother?

I always liked Madonna, ever since I saw the porn tape she did when she was young and unknown, riding around NYC in the back of limo doing two guys at once.

But her career has been downhill ever since.

The problem with Madonna (at least the problem that I have with Madonna) is that like a lot of other artists of her ilk she has failed to grow old gracefully. She's trying to maintain 25-year-old looks and attitude (and mentality) at 50. It just doesn't work. The look is incongruent, the music is incongruent, the emotion is incongruent ... she'll go out kicking and screaming, trying to cheat nature, where she could have mellowed naturally with age and maybe delivered some decent music. It's a shame.

Did someone mention SMAP? That name shouldn't even come up in a discussion of music.

Jack, you like Kumi Koda. That disqualifies you from commenting on this thread.

I agree on both counts.

She's from Michigan, Goddamnit! And what's with the british accent all of a sudden. Anyone who's been to Michigan knows exactly what I'm talking about.

You'll probably need to be British to get this...
