....Well, the man at the shop called us about these last two pictures. We've had a problem recently with certain kinds of photos, and he was naturally concerned.....I'm sure there's a simple explanation but . . . a grown man and a young child, a girl . . . " "They're taking a bath."

my family had a weird tradition. there somewhere exists a pic of me naked when i was 3 days old, sitting in a pot roast pan. eh.. family weirdness.

This is one of those "culture moments".. I like how he slipped the "take your shoes off dirty American" routine into that story.

Gee, just listen to the OLs chatter in the tearoom....they rountinely brag about soaping Papa to pay for their Hawaiian vacation. Also, "scrubbing Papa's back" is a fairly common (trite) plot device on Japanese TV.

I'd say she's a little old for "kodomo/images" don't you think?

Yeah, our family has that same tradition. I know that somewhere there's a picture of me au naturale save my cowboy hat and pistol belt. Yeah, and me mum has sworn to displaying said photo at my wedding.
