80 Million Yen PC
 PC Zeus is offering a PC in a diamond-encrusted platinum case for 80 million yen. If that's a bit much for your wallet, you can get a gold version for 60 million yen. They are allegedly aimed at celebrities and the new rich although it's difficult to imagine someone actually being dumb enough to buy one so it probably is just a publicity stunt.

Just saw something on the wide shows this morning about a 10 million yen diamond and platinum keitai so I guess these things were planned before everyone decided that we are going into a recession.

The most ludicrous thing about the computer is that the specs don't even include an enthusiast quad-core CPU part, or enthusiast motherboard. The memory isn't even maxxed out to 4GB (2x2GB), and uses DDR2 instead of DDR3. You might get 1TB of hard disk space, but there seems to be some mixed messages with the video card. The ad says 8000 series, but the specs say something else.
but hey, you want expensive case, you get expensive case. Heck, with that amount of money you could fund a supercomputer.
