The Sankei writes (Japanese) that a 27 year old woman has been arrested for dumping 15 kilos of vomit at a site near her own apartment in Kobe at around 4:30am. The woman, a pharmacist, confessed that she was bulimic and had recently been binge-eating. Police say that since last year there have been over 100 incidents of illegal dumping of bags full of vomit. The woman admitted that she had disposed of her own vomit on previous occasions. It's good they caught her. As Nigel Tufnel says in This is Spinal Tap: "You can't really dust for vomit".

At what volume does it become illegal to dump vomit?

Why don't people just puke into their toilets like everybody else?


(or in my case during a recent bout of food poisoning - all over the walls of the toilet - way, way TMI)

Seriously... I think there are some much more deep rooted mental problems if she found the need to puke into something other than the toilet and let the stuff build until she had 15 frigging kilos of it...

i would normally tend to agree with you, but its really hard to imagine any deep rooted mental problems in japan.... ... .
