NKH, an amateur group of aspiring web-livecasters, and Nicotech, an open Internet community of Sunday engineers, co-host Sora-Fes!, an event for all flying-gadget lovers.
Sora-Fes, literary meaning "Sky-Festival" in Japanese, welcomes anyone who wants to share their love for sky and flying toys. The admission includes an rubberband-powered ornithopter or "Flying Panty," which all participants make and test-flight together.
This event holds a talk session of three prominent figures: SciFi author Housuke Nojiri, TV announcer Jun Suzuki and media artist Kazuhiko Hachiya. Flying crafts of Nicotech members will be displayed at the event, and participants are welcome to bring their own and test-flight at the open space.
Sora-fes is held on Saturday, March 6th at 3331 ARTS CYD, Akihabara, Tokyo
