There's been strange turn of events in an Osaka murder case. A chef had made a series of poor investments which left him 5 million yen in debt. Unable to deal with the shame, he killed his wife and two children before trying to commit suicide by slashing his wrists in an internet cafe. He failed and is in police custody. To make the tragedy worse, investigators have now discovered that his wife, through her own efforts, had a secret savings account with 20 million yen which she was planning to use to send the children to university. The husband said that his relationship with his wife had deteriorated and he hadn't told her about his debts and didn't know about her savings.
