Infrared camera phones X-ray the X-zone

---Infrared filters for mobile cameras are being used to take "X-ray" photos that expose literally everything except the clothes a subject is wearing...

I guess a suitable question would be just where on earth could I pick up one of these filters from? I would ... err.... might be interested in .... some specific testing of afformentioned filter of sorts. . .

There was a thing on the News about this sort of thing about a month ago. I guess a news team was going out to the beaches, and helping bust some guys taking infra shots of girls with said "Tousatsu" lenses.

Infrared is not the same as X-Ray (which is radioactive!), and the effect isn't that dramatic. There was a big blow up about this a few years back regarding infrared video cams and men using them on women's clothes. There are plenty of these pictures on the net already if you really want to look. It doesn't work as well as you think.

In case you really are as moronic as you appear, let me explain ... these are clothes with printed images (of underwear, buttocks, breasts etc.) printed on the clothes. When staged correctly (as in these photos) it appears that the clothes are transparent.

I have a bunch more of these photos that were circulated round the internet about a year back. If you really want, I'll try to dig them out and post them so that you can see that not only are you morons, but you're out-of-date morons.

Nope. Kept them because they're amusing. Especially when you know what they really are. {Unlike some morons}.

LOL - About 2 years ago my mother sent me these pictures in an email - saying that a friend of hers was told these clothes were the newest fashion rave in Japan and asking me to verify.
Since I don't live in Tokyo, I couldn't just say it was bull (you never know in the land of Oz!!) so I took a closer look at them with some picture software and it's pretty obvious they were tampered with.

In other words - They aren't even real clothes. Someone just pasted some bare asses over some real pics and did a half assed decent job of it.

Tokyo fashions - maybe...
X-Ray or even Infrared - come on!! Why then is the T-back still visible? Didn't know they made em outta lead. And, as Jingai said, infrared is a totally different picture. - False color imaging - you could call it, so you wouldn't really see much anyway.

Too bad though, I might have upgraded my Keitai

The images in the original post are kind of a red herring, but you can take pictures good enough to maybe embarass the average soccer mom...or national swimming team. This site (http://www.advanced-intelligence.com/xraycam.html) has an explaination and some sample images (http://www.spy.th.com/through.html). Probably okay for the oyaji-in-training, but with the exception of wet clothes, not really too dramatic. As other people have mentioned.





My own imagination is probably that good, and much less likely to cause me problems with the local authorities...let alone having an ill timed shutter moment with a passing obaasan. I shudder to think.
