Postby canman » Thu Nov 18, 2004 3:43 pm

What the hell is it with corn on pizza. Then again Strawberry cones seems to put corn on everything, their pizza, salads , I even saw some on on spaghetti dish. I like corn, but not on a pizza, please. Now does someone know do only Japanese pizza joints do this or anywhere else in the world?

Blame the Brits!
Canned corn and mayo is grrreat for me ...to poop on!
Believe it or not, those wacky courtrymen of the Poodle-of-Bush PM consider corn a favorite topping.
But hey, the former colonies Malaysia and Singapore put kacang, sweet red beans, and grass jelly as well as WMD canned corn on their pizza.

Who am I to judge? Even the damn Italians will sneak a raw egg on top of a perfectly good pizza, and Japanese think that's great. 8O

Pizza La No Way!

Postby DrP » Thu Nov 18, 2004 8:47 pm

Haha! I guess the only people they will be serving is the Japanese immigrants to Shanghai and other areas 'cause China is packed full of yummy pizza places like Papa Joe's, Pizza Hut (American recipe), Shakey's (again American recipe) and numerous others. In fact -- I GO to China just to eat Pizza! NY Style, Italian style it's all there. Hmmm -- though now I can take my chinese hosts to eat and compare ??

And next -- Christmas at Hachiko?? Hmmmmm--- did someone say Santa ??? http://www.videolink.jp/weblogs/santarchy

Mulboyne, that link lead to some murky depths. Probably deserves a thread of its own, but I won't be the one to start it.

I only googled for "English Pizza" and I got a can of worms. It opened my eyes on a a bunch of FGs I don't usually encounter but, like you, I baulked at starting a new thread. The temptation remains.
