On a related note, most females here seem to have never been tested for STD's....they think it's like some sort of confirmation they're a slut if they have to check Most recent chicka I asked actually took it serious and went to get tested....they took a urine same and "saw nothing unusual" and she has been declared clean. Such thoroughness along with the "only sluts need to be tested" mentality is probably the reason for they current (and previous) waves of STD outbreaks here..

I agree that there is a stigma attached to testing, and it is not easy for some men or women to take that first step. Even out in the First World, they have to make high impact shock public service announcements to ram home the concept that you are in effect having sex with all of their previous partners, who had had sex with all their previous partners, etc etc.
