Nikkan Sports has reported that 4 of the 5 members of SMAP have left Johnny & Associates, resulting in a de facto disbandment of the group. Nakai Masahiro, Inagaki Goro, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, and Katori Shingo are reported to have left the company, with Kimura Takuya being the only remaining SMAP member in Johnny & Associates.

there are janiizu quota and soka quota in variety tv show, drama, movie etc.
those quotas strangle self-made entertainers so much. its the reason the merit system does not work enough to boot those non-talented talents in j-showbiz circle. its public secret that janiizu has been backed by powerful yakuzas and no j-tabloids report janiizu gossips.
it has been spoiling j-entertainment world as hell. st. kurosawa is thoroughly disgusted with it in the heaven.

My wife almost had a heart attack when she heard the news this morning. Unfortunately she is a big SMAP fan, especially Kimura Takuya, but I see that there seems to be a news blackout on the subject. I guess Johny has cracked the whip and threatened not to let any of his boy toys appear on TV if the gossip and wide shows don't stop talking about this rumor! He wields too much power in this country and I can't wait for him to pass on!
