Yeah. I'm wondering if they can handle the real thing.. Most of the drills I've seen look so organized. Actually, for some reason, and it won't be because of the media hype, I don't think there'll be a hooligan problem..

Although, I think it would interesting to see 200 burly, drunk, spitting and screaming 'fooligans' confronting these 'organized' police.

I was in a riot in LA (no, not THE riots. They used to have them quite often).. Total fuckin' chaos!.. Do you think people stay in one area? Hell no! Everyone disperses, then attacks from all different sides. The cops probably caught about 5 of the 120 or so trouble makers. The riots I attended were at the OP Pro Surf Competition on the 4th of July.

One thing the Japanese police have going for them; the hooligans can't blend in. They're just another bunch o' fucked gaijin...

If they're really serious about stopping shit, they should get a small army of attack dogs; Rotweilers and German Shephards.. Yeah! I also think those water canons are cool.
