The American term for this is "anchor baby". Of course, the anchor baby immigration strategy only holds water if you're actually supporting your children in one way or another.

M気T, in his own self-published words from April, 2011:

In the past 3 years I have lived mainly in Tokyo with very rarely access to money for food or train fare. Regularly I have searched through my pockets for change to go across town to visit my daughter and sometimes it has not been there. Sorry Koko.

...

I have lived mainly off the generosity of a couple of kind women and by house sitting and couch surfing and by taking advatage of free events where there was food and booze.

M気T, there's a Japanese expression: 言わぬが花.
In English: T.M.I. ("Silence is wisdom when speaking is folly.")

I guess they kissed (and slapped) and made up.

My guess is:

1) He didn't get lucky at the Friday night "International" singles party and realized that it's harder to find a new sugar baby at 50 than he thought
2) He didn't find a way to continue his "lifestyle" in Amerika's Kalifornia, cause, well, he'd need a car. And a job.
3) The prospect of getting a real job in Japan to extend his stay after his spouse SoR expired was too scary

I wasn't able to read the FB post referenced but I did read the wholly-pathetic jaw-dropping Why I have gone exactly 3 years without money. It's hard to believe that anyone that retarded and self-delusional exists in real life.

Well, then again, there's CJ... something in the water or is there a dildo gene out there?

I expected to inherit enough money for me to laze around for the rest of my life when my father died, but I didn't, so now I dangle the idea I will inherit a bunch of money off my mother when she shuffles off in front of gullible people and live off them instead.

Yeah - one that really made me both wince & wonder:

... I fully expected some kind of sizeable inheritance but my Mum grabbed the lot.

This one too:

...As I write I have $8 to my name so will catch the train into downtown Brisbane this balmy Saturday Easter night in my best op shop clothes and shoes and see if a pretty girl will buy me a drink.

If I run into him, I expect it will be at some dive bar in Roppongi. A glistening fleshy verbose over the hill Charisma Man desperate for a Y500 beer reduced to mumbling offers of a handjob to dudes - until one of them decides to clock him in the jaw.

and we might wonder if the divorce was timed before the expected inheritance didn't materialize or after?

The link power of FG! Looking at the page view widget conveniently included with that page, there are two peaks where page views practically go off the charts. One is current!!! Hopefully, M気T will look into where those hits are coming from and take some of this advice to heart. I am not, however, holding my breath.

Legion: that article is two years old, and the events leading to the potential inheritance (in his mind only: I would have thought it was pretty much guaranteed that his father would provide for his mother if she survived him) seem to have taken place in or before 2010. Of course, I can not comment on the chronology of this and any previous of serial failed marriages having ended in divorce.

Are you into wife-swapping ?

Is MQT a live experiment of what happens when you give internet access to a crazy hobo ?

Shhh...you'll give the game away. (You're right, though. Unless we have group sex, when she adopts the pseudonym of Mrs. Palmer. You should see what can be done with the Tim Tam fingers....)

If you ever looked at them, you would just see the same crap (read "cheesy inspirational rubbish") posted on both walls. It seems she was too busy to post on FB as she is too busy - you know - WORKING FOR A LIVING. Unlike the deadbeat she was supporting.

He is turning out not to be a very nice person despite all of his claims of being such a good catch. :???:

Yep - how did you guess? You got me in one.

:keyboardcoffee:

However, I could always take on a man-tress I guess. My sofa at home is unoccupied during the day as both husband and are out WORKING FOR A LIVING. So there is room there for a deadbeat to sit all day "working" on his social media profile.

Given that he is such a catch, I am surprised that I have survived this long without him in my life.. (Eating my food, using my water, taking up space in my apartment, spending MY hard earned cash, breathing my valuable oxygen.)

You all we be happy to know that M気T has announced to the world that he has reconciled with wife #4 (considering the alternative of getting a job in order to earn his stay, an occasional ビンタ doesn't seem so bad I guess), and can we please ignore his Drama Queen episode (now deleted from FB) and get back to LUVIN LIFE and LUVIN YOU and LUVIN THOSE DOLPHINS.

P.S. Here's how you tell that Yoriko's posts are M気T: the punctuation (especially commas) in both of their posts have the exact same "style" (as in, incorrect) to them.
