Have a hit with Ichihara Sharks in 2005.
Regular trainings at our indoor nets in Chiba.
League games start in April.
All levels/nationalities welcome.

Only if it's a pace/fast bowler. In case of a spin bowler, the wicketkeeper is much closer so he can throw off the bails (provided he catches the bowl) if the batsman ventures off the crease.

Actually, our bloke is the one with the bat. ....Our keeper usually stands further back in order to take the ball about waist-high (we have really fast bowlers). :)

Ive heard of a few Sri Lankan cricket clubs in the TYO region, but i had no idea there were enough teams for a 2 division league.

Do you get any Japanese players?

Yep, there are 3 or 4 Japanese teams playing in the same leagues as us, as well as University teams and a mens and womens national team. You can check out a bit more info on Japan cricket at our site http://www.ichiharasharks.com/japan_cricket.html .
