Amnesty International Summer Party
With live music all day in the town center and DJs in OPIUM until late, this summer party should be great fun as well as an opportunity to support the Nobel Prize winning human rights group.
The free live show in Alice Garden (behind PARCO) from around lunchtime to dusk includes Bossanova, noisy guitars, African and Native American percussionists,didgeridoo,and lots more

Tasty grub and refreshments will be served by International Love Cafe.
In the letter writing tent you will be able to find out about AI's current campaigns. Throughout the day there is also a letter writing marathon against human rights abuses.
Evening sees the party move up the road to OPIUM with DJs Jon, Paul (GetHiroshima) and Daiji (3pi) with sets to have you jigging about. The party will start around 9pm but those who want to go straight from Alice Garden can go along earlier and take advantage of the Happy Hour beer prices.
Everyone participating in this event is doing it for free and the support and enthusiasm for the idea has been tremendous. Amnesty Hiroshima, a very small group of dedicated members, is really hoping for a big turnout on the day and all monies raised will be put to very good use improving the human rights situation for all.
The Alice Garden event is free, though any donations will be appreciated.
