oh... BTW you forgot to add the dualis... or the Mitsubishi Delica D5... or the Renault Koleos...
XTrail... Toyohashi is not Islamabad... Dem' road be small and there not that much explosion craters...
I had a Nissan Terrano here in the 90's (clunky Pathfinder predecessor), followed by a diesel Toyota Surf (which handled much better and was fun to drive as I lived in a winter sports area).Yokohammer wrote:If it has to be a Nissan, why not just do the right thing and get an x-trail?

I've been away from SUV's for a few years and I'm thinking about heading back in the direction in the not too distant future.
Nissan's Murano and Dualis don't thrill me (need a bit more functionality as I need to haul family and wood etc. around), and the Juke is in the same boat.

If you're not 100% sold on Nissan, why not try out some Toyota SUV's too?
(For me Mitsubishi is not an option after the whole truck scandal awhile back.)

Also of course, only manual transmission.
But... I honestly have yet to see a moar beautifull car... And so small that you don't need to park it, you just put it in your backpocket when you're done driving it...

So that's what is was! I caught a glimpse of one of those heading the opposite direction last week but didn't get enough of a look to figure out what it was. Nice...but from your description, what a headache!
When I was back in LA recently, I picked up the owner of one of my suppliers as he took his similarly fucked design sports car in for service. Despite all the problems, the looks everyone gives these things still makes them a blast to drive
I had never seen so many in my life and luckily had my camera with me

New clutch/gear box last year.
I bought this new when they first came out, thinking I'd pass it on to one of the kids after a year or two but decided to keep it.
16 years on it still runs well and is an easy drive for this old fart.

Did the test drive not happen?
