After I had my mental combustion I lost *all* interest in conversation. It made life a lot less stressful when I simply chose to ignore everybody.

It worked!!

At the same time I became involved in the other ways we communicate when we *don't* talk. Obviously body language had already been well documented but you might not know that there is a whole world of symbols that communicate a lot more than words can ever do. The emoticons used in our posts being only a small example.
