Wanted: Gun Mic Operator

I just received this from the Tokyo Video Users' Group:

Dear Film Brothel and TVUG,
I'm looking for someone who would be interested in
doing sound for my short film, on the 17th and 18th of
August -- the weekend after this one.
This would involve operating the gun mic on a
fishpole, and generally helping out with producing
good sound, but no experience is necessary. We're
shooting in a lovely farm house in Saitama, and we're
all going to stay there overnight on Saturday night --
it'll be a lot of fun I think.
Let me know ASAP and I'll send anyone a script who's
interested. Also, if you can forward this to anyone or
any groups you think would be interested, please do!

I assume this "job" is the kind where you are paid in experience, rather than currency. Let me know if I'm wrong.

I assume that's the situation since most of the 'video jobs' in Tokyo are 'independent'.. Meaning no-budget. (Some quid pro quo could be in action in that 'farm house' in Saitama, though... You never know out there.)
