I think the Malaysian gov't spouts off like this every couple of months, just to let their own people think that they really care about them.
Its a commercial people, who cares if he is American or not. It is all about selling cars, nothing more, nothing less.

Oh yeah. The "Orang Asli" of Malay would sell LOTS of cars I bet.
