I do it all the time since I'm here... since I always manage to live near the cemetries... whatever the town or country... I kinda get used to these kind of superstition... On my mountain bike the practice was responsible for nearly 50% of my bike accident (try to hold the handlebar while folding your thumbs and tell us who you survived it...)

Not trying to disrespect, but did you run that through a translation software? I tried reading through it twice but it just made no sense.

I do it all the time since I'm here...
-I always hide my thumbs near funeral places or cars since my arrival in Japan

since I always manage to live near the cemetries...
-I lived in different countries, but strangely enough my homes were always situatued near cemetries.

whatever the town or country...
-insisting on the fact that even moving in the same country to a different town, I was still strangely close to a cemetry.

I kinda get used to these kind of superstition...
-Wherever the location, superstition are linked to cemetries.

On my mountain bike the practice was responsible for nearly 50% of my bike accident.
-Since I had to hide my thumbs to follow the superstition while driving my bicycle. It was difficult to steer properly. This incapacity to control my bicycle in an orderly manner was leading me to several accidents.

(try to hold the handlebar while folding your thumbs and tell us how you survived it...)
-more details aboot the circunstances leading to said accident. (correction of a misstyping (who -> how)
