The 9 Most Unintentionally Terrifying Kids Shows

Postby Mike Oxlong » Sun Nov 21, 2010 11:59 am

Naturally, Japan made the list...

It takes a special kind of talent to create a solid kid's show. You have to create the sometimes offbeat material that appeals to the innocent, off-kilter mind of a child. But, you also have to make sure you don't cross that fine line into creepy -- traumatizing them for their entire lives.

The creators of these shows failed miserably at that last one.

Check it out, and next time you happen upon a kids show that isn't as disturbing as a Stephen King novel, take time to respect the talent it takes not to horrify babies.

This puts me in mind of H&R Puffin Stuff.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

Meanwhile in a small cheeze eating surrender monkey land... Go to 1.50 to have the face of the storryteller... Guy is a famous academician. He could have gone freestyle from memory on any of the topics from these TV shows...
