I'm totally comfortable with letting the sport follow #2. I'd be even happier if we weren't shown replays on TV either. I don't really care if someone was really onside or offside or not since it doesn't matter. All that matters is how it looked from the official's position and the attention he could give it considering all else going on.

These announcers are giving credit when something gets done right, but I can't disagree with their overall comments regarding the lack of excitement in this game.
