This is a source of MUCH nerd debate. TokyoPOP does a lot of OEL manga, so it's no wonder they support calling it "manga". I know other publisher call non-Japanese comics what they are: comics.

Manga is called manhwa in Kimchi Peninsula.
"This is not manga but manhwa nida!!!!"
