I do watch the old stuff still, like Slayers, Berserk, Kenshin, etc. The late 80's to late 90's was the peak of good anime. The new stuff pretty much sucks, IMO.

I'm pretty old school (Macross, Megazone, etc.), but within all the current dreck there are still a decent number of great anime, like the Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex.

I really like Evangelion, Trinty Blood, Gundam SEED, any thing with decent action and story. I used to like Bleach and Naruto but the fillers killed it for me. So now I just read manga, I heard its helpful for learning Kanji.
I am not really sure where I am going, I just hope that when I get there, I can sit down because I am sure my feet will be tired.
