I've seen Japanese do it too, but I've never seen anyone do it to such an extreme. At least Dave Specter's colour contacts look semi-real...Kinda.

In the other pictures he looks normal. I just don't know why he included that scary looking pic to put in his portfolio. I guess it gets him noticed though so maybe that's the point.
