I agree...a bi-lingual programmer/writer/semi-manager that only gets minimum wage? With taxes taken out and everything yoy are looking at about 25k a month if that. Good luck living in Tokyo with that. You'd be able to, but not very comfortably.

Thought I don't disagree that the pay is low for the kind of job they're talking about, there are a million salarymen living off of the same or less in Tokyo. If you live in the burbs and your company pays for transportation you can easily keep your fixed cost to 120,000 a month or less.
