"World Beer Museum" looking for staff

Postby yanpa » Sat Mar 23, 2013 9:32 am

Doesn't say anything about beer tasting positions, alas.

I've never heard of the place, but apparently it's in the shade of the Sky Tree.

At those wages, there's certainly something very shady about the place...

Isn't that pretty standard for restaurant work?

That place is pretty pricey though. An hour of pay won't even buy you a pint there.

for a "beer museum" their selection of beer is pretty weak.

You can start your own beer museum by buying their 634 bottle set for 634,000 yen.

To be honest, I actually like the place because they carry one of my favorite American micro brews on draft but 1600 yen a pint is a bit steep even for Tokyo.

In French, by freaky linguistic coincidence, the words "American micro brews" actually mean "to drink Pabst Blue Ribbon ironically", hence the confusion.

Didn't PBR just buy Hostess? I sense a new NASCAR sponsorship program in the making.

Yeah, kind of. The Souvlaki heads at Metropoulos & Co. along with another VC company bought Hostess's cake division. They also own PBR.
