Mulb, you had me scratching my head there for a moment:

Japan Has No Word For "Hot Flushes"

I do presume that FLUSHES was a typo as the rest of the story was about FLASHES.

I was expecting a story about malfunctioning toilets. . .

Just me coming from Britain where "flashes" would be the typo. I think we like to associate as many aspects of life as possible with toilets.
