Just a vid I took on the weekend of the boy carrying a Mikoshi around our neighbourhood. The ultimate FG experience.

The gang was filling us full of beer and sake along the way!! Excellent.

Everybody was great friends but I think that was the influence of the Mikoshi bonding - oh that and the sake and beer methinks.

Did that the week before last at the neighborhood matsuri. Lots of beer and a heavy mikoshi. There are fewer and fewer toungsters in the hood so we have to recruit a few local college students to help out.

Mikoshi is not to be taken lightly (OK, sorry about the pun there). But no joke, they are one HEAVY mothuh f*ckah if you've done it before and know what I'm talking about.
