The ad isn't really generating controversy. It's generating racist comments from people who post anonymously online (like pretty much anything else does). That's not the same thing. What should be controversial about that ad is the claim that Cheerios or any other highly processed breakfast cereal is healthy.

But seriously, if someone is forgetting that quickly, maybe this is another indication of how poor western education has become.
