Matsumoto's "Big Man Japan" to Open In America

Hitoshi Matsumoto's 2007 film "Dai Nipponjin" did reasonable business in Japan but received mixed reviews and wasn't the hit the studio had hoped for. In a couple of months, It will get a limited US theatre run for its English language version under the title "Big Man Japan". The film has already been previewed at events such as Comic Con where it has matched the domestic reception with both good and bad reviews. Trailer above.

Come on, that movie was 100% fertilizer. The end look like they just ran out of idea/continuity so instead they made up sh1t in front of the camera while being half drunk...

My only fear is that it will still be better than the american remake that will surely follow... :-(
