Just be aware that in the dim past of the FG Forum, the owner Ultragaijin had to ban picture-in-signatures. A few anime-addled freaks were posting 640x200 banner sigs at the bottom of their 1-sentence posts resulting a slowdown of page loading times and screwing up folks using mobile browsing.

I know that the Tentacled One is absent so I don't expect speedy measures, but I will say that the oversized "Fuck you you are not authorized to see this image" placeholder image displayed when you are not logged in is a much bigger issue than the image in the signature you can see when you are logged in. And if I could find my bitchy hat so that I could put it on, I would probably say that the image of M Voltaire adds very little in helping me identify the source of the quote, especially as he is named in the text, however I understand the desire to break up the text with pictures.
