The Amazon "So You'd Like to..." for Mike Rogers book is enough for me to stay away. After having to suffer though dozens of his blog posts over the years which are just repeated in his "book" as I have read in the Amazon except.

I really can't work out whether the piece is supposed to be satirical or not but Mike Rogers wrote back in January about being beaten up and robbed in Tokyo:

I'd say it's a "story" of very enhanced truth and plenty of humor faux-details such as a written (incriminating) letter from the neighborhood boss. Rogers is a drunk and drunks do get rolled in Tokyo. I doubt Rogers is so crazy enough to draw attention to his daughter's Yakuza connection with revealing/incriminating details.

I think he himself, believes that he has gone native, but I'm not sure if he knows in which country he has accomplished this great feat.

I may have to use that description - without giving you a shred of credit, of course, gboothe.
