accomodation

i am planning to go over and live in japan in a few months but thought i should get some info first... im australian and am wanting to stay in japan for at least 12 months... just wondering what to expect in the way of accomodation and how hard is it to arrange... i will be coming alone and dont mind living away from the city... Any help would be appreciated i have been pointed in your direction by a few people...

P.S. i havent decided where i am going to setup home so any ideas or opinions would be great... near ibisu circuit would be good

Really depends on location and budget etc.

Are you working? Will you have a visa? If so what type? You cannot rent a property on your own without a proper visa/gaijin card. And you will need a guarentor and lots of money to move in - key money, deposit etc etc.

If you are in Tokyo, I can give you a hand as we have just opened a real-estate company.
