study japanese in japanese countryside

Postby akatsuka » Sun Sep 27, 2009 7:30 am

ive been searching the internet for a while now and also looked up some old posts on fuckedgaijin but i cant seem to find what im looking for. can anyone here help?

i'm looking to study japanese for around 1 year in japan. preferably i'd like to be in the countryside (ish) so that i dont just get lazy and speak english all the time! I've already got JLPT 2 but my aim is more to improve on my spoken skills.

i dont care where i am based, be it an hour away from downtown tokyo or on a small remote island... the only thing i care about is getting with a decent school which also sponsors student visas. (that said, riduculous high fees are not that great..)

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I'm reviving this post. I'm interested in the Yamasa Advanced (AJSP) classes, however would love to hear from someone who's already studied there... What's it like? Any further info for me before I part with my well-earned cash?

Thanks
