What was the expectation regarding her sentencing? Did people predict she would actually have to do time in jail?

Shabu will almost always get hard time if the person is found in possession. It is my understanding that they had no dope that they could claim as exclusively hers as far as "in possession of" goes. Joint possession (kyodou) is not taken as seriously for one party, if the other party has other possession/use and transfer charges.

I look for them to file Mr. Nori-P so far back in the hole that they'll have to pipe sunshine to him....

For a couple of weeks, photos have been going around the net which appear to show Noripi giving head. They were first published in FLASH and Shukan Post and apparently come from a 19 second video clip. Uratan now declares that they have tracked down the real source of these clips. With colour examples, they show that the woman is actually Anna Miyashita and the images come from a porn video.

Japanese singer and actress Noriko Sakai smiles to the media after her news conference in Tokyo on Saturday, announcing her return to the entertainment industry. Sakai, 41, finished her three-year suspended sentence Friday after being convicted of drug use in 2009. Sakai, who is popularly known as Nori-P, will return to the stage next month as the main character in a story about the Sengoku era.
