This picture raises so many questions. Do they mean that they proud to Japanese member of hairy butt group or that they are proud of their hairy butts compared to other unhairy Japanese or it is a Nihonjinron thing 'We Japanese have hairy butts'?

It just goes to show that Coligny got a sweet consulting gig for Tokyo Metro designing their new campaign. Kinda odd, really, since old Mayor Ishihara doesn't really care for the French language (I'm reaching in assuming that extends to artistic sensibilities, film, culture, yada yada). On a meaningless tangent, an ardent nationalist I spoke with at a bonenkai last week was gleefully recounting Ishihara's speech where he said that French would never become the international language because of it's fucked counting system. I gently interjected that French had been the language of dipomacy for maybe 350 years, and were actually the first national academy of science to publish in their own language, not Latin. They standardized weights and measures. Sure, Chinese had it's run in East Asia, Arabic with those Ottomans, but, anyway, what was I blabbing about?

i thought the french were shitty counters too cause of their number system, but when i looked into it, it was just a more complex way of counting rather than "cant count". if you can do something complex, then when you simplify it the work becomes much easier...

More so, many of the life companies in Europe (even the US of A) have french mathematicians structure all their financial products... dont know the exact reason, but i dont think they pay them hefty salaries because they can't count...
