Can anyone recommend one? There are too many to choose from. I can't figure out what's what.

Can you give more information on what you're trying to do with a VPN?

Downloading. Link up to sites blocked outside the US/UK etc...
It just seems as if there is an internet war on out there now and privacy is under attack. I've never been a heavy downloader but I'd like to be able to see the occasional show not available in Japan without having trouble with my ISP.
