WiFi Router needed for DoCoMo DSL

Anyone had success with Tomato/DD/Open WRT being able to log in to DoCoMo DSL?

I had similar to a Buffalo WHR-G54S running suck-shit stock firmware. Did I mention it sucked? But it was able to automatically log in to DoCoMo's hell hole authentication (which otherwise requires client software on your -single user- pc)

I'm now in the position of needing to make this happen again. Looking for a cheap solution that will work well-enough. Are there any routers that don't suck so bad? Or will Tomato/DD/Open WRT log in to DoCoMo DSL?

Something really cheap on yahoo auctions or amazon.co.jp would be titties.
