Oh dear, now it appears he's trying to drag Loco into this whole thing.

For those not familiar with the intricacies of the J-Web2.0osphere's finer points, that's Loco in Yokohama, who I'm pretty sure isn't McTojo.

I didn't realise Twitter could broadcast olfactory data, but the stench of desperation coming off his Twitter feed is overwhelming.

Then, I come across something like what he has written and I realize what an absolute fuckwit I would look like if I went on the same sort of spiel and I can sorta readjust to trying to get on with living a normal kind of life.

The CJs of this world are needed for the perspective which keeps us (relatively) sane.

Well, from what I can see, the latest twist starts with this:

https://twitter.com/eidoinoue/status/314648137400717312
eidoinoue wrote:@CJglobalite If you continue to stalk and harass my family I will contact law enforcement. C&D immediately. There will be no more warnings.

Then you get pulled in:
https://twitter.com/CJglobalite/status/ ... 0997595136
CJglobalite wrote:@Locohama please tell @eidoinoue he should go to police about whoever is using my name to stalk, harass his family, as he says. Thanks

There may be more that I am missing... in fact I am certain of it because I don't see why you were mentioned. Other than the fact that CJ seems batshit crazy and is probably hearing voices in his head...

Oh! Yeah saw that random tweet yesterday I think. Don't think I know this CJ person and don't think I've ever exchanged tweets with him before. smh.
How is this related to Mctojo? I saw someone say that Loco is not Mctojo, and of course I am not. But I have had exchanges with him in the past

:keyboardcoffee:

Priceless.

Word of warning Loco - do not get sucked into this one. Grab some pop-corn and watch from the sidelines. This CJ person is mentally unstable and is claiming that all foreigners in Japan are waging a cyber-bullying attack on him. He thinks he is some famous journalist but nobody had ever heard of him until he was denied entry on a Visa Run to Korea last year and claimed that he was tortured and had money extorted by security guards at Narita.

He wrote an "expose" on the whole debacle but the credibility of the story and the writer were questioned. Also some unsavoury behaviour towards colleagues from a previous job surfaced showing that he is not a very pleasant person. Now anybody who dares to question him is a cyberbully.

McTojo is just our resident troll. We keep him in the basement and don't let him post in the regular forums anymore. He has nothing to do with the CJ story.

GomiGirl's summary is just about the best I've seen. Loco, I just wanted to add one thing, which is the main reason GG warned you not to get sucked in. Now that CJ's career has basically been trashed (completely self-inflicted, thanks to the permanent paper trail of mental meltdowns he's left on the Internet), he's decided to try to retaliate against those who he thinks wronged him. He's started contacting and harassing companies he believes are the employers of individuals who had the audacity to point out his torture/extortion stories were full of holes and self-contradiction. Since your name is public, you can bet he will be in touch with your employers if you get on his bad side for any reason.

Strongly recommend that anybody who's not anonymous do not even begin a conversation with that nutcase, unless you are self-employed or can afford a lawyer to defend yourself against his stalking.

A further correction: from my observation and my experience, he doesn't actually need a reason to put you on his bad side. It seems to have more to do with wind direction than anything else.

He even claims he's been contacting the Japanese police (or getting his girlfriend to do it for him) to investigate people for their "crimes" ; pointing out his stories are full of easily-disproven bullshit is apparently against the law. His stated goal is to "get people fired". (Reminds me of another famous Japanese who has done the same thing.. but is just slightly less open about it) He recently tricked a Hong Kong news site into publishing his story chock full of libel against his enemies (because publishers in Japan and back home are getting wise to him). So he's hell bent on using his remaining credibility as a professional journalist to do whatever damage he can and smear everyone he hates for "ruining his career".. which means anyone who doesn't support him..fuck, even people who do (ahem.."did" is better) support him don't seem immune from his outbursts.

But at this point, assume any references to him using lawyers and police is just bullshit. It's a trick that apparently used to work for him (no idea how many people he was successfully intimidating in earlier years before he discovered Twitter, but he seems to have a long and deep enemies list). It's a one man show just harassing ANYONE who he can get a phone number or email for.. though he's rapidly running out of Japan-based gaijin and journalists in general who don't know about him. And the number of his stalkees who have been contacting lawyers and police worldwide has been rapidly increasing. (again thank you Twitter - double edged sword..helping loons go nuclear, but also helping victims band together)

He's desperate. Probably don't want to be on his radar when he escalates to maybe backing up some of his violent threats.

I see he has studied search engine optimization. The magic text string "Christopher Johnson Japan journalist" is more prominent. However, notwithstanding that it may improve the hit score for that article, I am not sure that linking that text string to that article will improve his reputation. He seems so sure of his own correctness and the appropriateness of his behaviour (not to mention the notion that the Sun and stars revolve around him) that he can not see that people who had no beef with him end up being angered by him. He himself is the common factor in, and the origin of, all his souring relationships.

Excuse me while I summons my foxxy foxxy ladies.

CJ gets even sadder.

The first thought I had was realizing how many hours he spent into creating that lengthy puzzling piece of crap. While most of us were enjoying our weekends, he was spending most of his time on that kind of shit.

Then again, not so much different from the rest of his writing. Long awkward sentences with autistic imagery. "Touched by a mong."

Maybe its all deliberate. trying to get himself declared insane so he can go on the dole for mental disability?
pushing 50? Ever had a steady job? pension plan?

he should just try it anyway. that, or he can claim drug addiction. wouldn't be hard to believe him. just have a social worker read the blog.
he gets cash enough to live on, probably gets protected by privacy laws from ever having his status revealed, and gets to spend 24/7 hating people.

wait a minute....

I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't the root of the problem.

There was strangulation involved, right?

Nairobi is the place to go for that, I hear.

Meanwhile veteran war reporter and survivor of the 3/11 nuclear quake disaster notices that a Japanese newspaper he writes for has made a deal with a paper whose Japan reporters he has been stalking/attacking on Twitter.

OK - back on the MQT topic, I was wasting some time during my lunch break and I read the following on MQT's FB page (he is currently in NZ after his visa was newly minted so he was able to leave the country on holidays*):

Michael Q Todd wrote: The tax department say I owe them money Luigi so I was not allowed on the plane. May be here a while as they have no inclination to sort out their mistakes. Will probably have to take them to court

:keyboardcoffee:

So he might be there for a while.

The guy is looking more and more like a complete deadbeat

Indeed. 'cept as a book addict I loves me a good novel, but for me Internet drama has replaced TV.

For those of us of a voyeuristic/schadenfreudian disposition, GG's MQT quote comes from the comment thread on MQT's page underneath the update which reads:

Green-haired tax-dodger wrote:Am in a public library in Auckland, New Zealand using their computer. Is 9.45 am and I can see about 10 screens around me. 1 is looking at FB and the other 9 are playing video games. Would you get the same result in your town?

I found this first post interesting as well - given that he spends most of his waking hours on FB and Twitter. I still for the life of me cannot figure out what he does for a living other than talk about how to spend more time on FB and Twitter trying to get more followers to listen how to get more followers on FB and Twitter. I don't follow him has he has nothing to say other than this. Oh except for "save the dolphins".

Unless somebody can enlighten me.

Nice to know there are still hard working lady doctors who are prepared to take care of this boy-man-deadbeat with way too many children from other women and a desire to not work.
