LOL, even made it to the J-news this morning.

Sad to see "Smile Japan" (WTF do they have to give all their sports teams shitty names?) get taken down 1-0...I have a feeling they'll get run over by Russia tomorrow and then it's over for them. Oh well, US and Canada are lookin' good.

BBC commentators during the Russia vs. Germany game...

"She was looking for peanut butter but she ended up with pickles!"

What's amazing is that brainiacs forwarding this picture don't seems to realize how much work it would be to so closely follow the shape of the loo embed it in the wall.
Aboot braziliun times more effort than just building a proper loo. or just not putting walls...

Hey now, Russia is good but they aren't dominating...and US has bet Canada how many times in their most recent matchups?

I predict US vs Canada final, US wins 3-1. (though Sweden might edge out either team if they keep playing the way they are)

Shit...thank God I found this thread. I rarely watch the idiot box, but I turned it on and wondered what the fuck was happening with all the rich kids dressed like Tinkerbell or squeezed into a Gimp suit running around and putting on silly poses. Then, someone breathlessly lauded the Japanese athlete who'd finished 37th in a brilliant effort and I realized it must be the Olympics, so I came here for confirmation.

Yeah, the old bitch Tonya. I miss her.

But fortunately we now have short-track racing, which comes closest to combining figure skating with ice hockey.
